MONTGOMERY, Alabama — The Alabama Supreme Court on February 22 handed down another historic ruling this month, saying amputated limbs have some of the same rights as their previous owners.
“No longer will severed arms and legs just be thrown out in the garbage as if they didn’t have rights of their own,” said Alabama Chief Justice Bruce Naler.
“We are are here to protect life in all its forms,” he said in a fiery statement.
The amputated limbs ruling comes fresh after the same court ruled that frozen embryos are considered children.

Bowe Bergdahl was raised in the southern US, and doesn’t want to go anywhere else.
